The image came out of thinking about noise—how much of it we move through every day, and how much of it we carry with us. Signals, symbols, chatter, pressure. Some of it external. Some of it internal. All of it real.

This piece is about paying attention to that. Mental health isn’t abstract or passive. It’s maintenance. It takes effort. It takes intention. Sometimes it means stopping long enough to notice what you’re holding.
