Painted over an aluminum newspaper comics page lithography plate from 1989, this piece contrasts childhood imagination with adult pursuit. The figure stands heavy with two skull-marked moneybags, a rewind symbol hovering behind him. Innocence to accumulation. Which one is the reward?
